Hello Cyberspace

It’s a glorious day to wake up. I wonder has anyone ever took the time to notice the little things? Have you noticed the way your java smells? Or the distance between two trees, the actual colors of nature?

These are the little things that happen, that most people don’t see, before they get “that kind of news’.

The colors of the changing season’s somehow just seem more vibrant. The smell of that java just a bit different.

The little things that you do in your life, you seem to do them with more passion.

Things others do for you that normally you would let pass by without a second glance, well you don’t anymore.

These are some of what I call the little things.

My son agreeing with me for I’m going to guess in a very long time, about my wishes as what I would like to see my grandchildren remember about me.

Take a moment everyday if you can, look at all the little things that normally you don’t. Like when you coffee that’s been made and handed to you just as your eyes open, not even fully awake yet.

The smell of leaves burning that you normally hated, now you enjoy an you take in those smells. Or the wonderful colors of nature, they become so much more beautiful!

You find yourself seeing the world in a brand spanking new perspective.

The dishes left in the sink, they are just not as important anymore. The unmade bed, really why does it matter, your just going to get back in it. But I will say there’s nothing like a freshly made bed to climb into.

How about when someone says I love you do you take it as “I” hear that everyday, attitude or like me, with a deeper meaning now.

I see more beauty in everything now a day’s.

The colors just seem more vibrant more alive. Smells good or bad start to come into focus.

Just today I realized that, that damned annoying woodpecker every morning at 6:15 he isn’t so annoying any more, I welcome him.

Those are just a simplistic few of my little things. There so many more, much more, I will detail when possible the one’s that catch me off guard.

The world and your life has so much to offer, take a second look and try to see what you haven’t yet seen , or try to unsee what you have already seen.

In a world full of turmoil there are still glorious wonders if you only look for them. And embrace them with open minds and an open heart.

Bad Experience

Having a Bad Experience

I’m really not sure where to go with this entry but I do need to get it off my chest.

It has been brought to my attention I guess may I wasn’t clear, NOT as in skin color, as in the rank we receive here in Retaik, via points.

I’m getting quite fedup with the retalkers of higher color rank as in points of how much participation they engage in, acting like they are above all other’s. What about using  /m for moderator /u for user, (it has been brought to my attention I guess maybe I wasn’t clear, NOT as in skin color,) as in the rank we receive here in Retalk via points, to me what I’m noticing is the color has gone to some heads, they see it as yup you guessed it power!!!

I believe maybe the color system could be a flawed idea a good thought though.
Lately I have been belittled and shamed for my own opinions. Something I never expected to say.

I get no people count in my community. I send messages to various people asking for advice, I receive either no reply or simple one word answer’s.

Have I been having a bad couple of days? Sure I have, don’t we all. I just happened to fall yesterday laid on a cold floor until I could find help. Which was about an hour and a half. But I’m okay, still a bit tired, still a bit cranky.

Here’s another thing that gets my goat, I absolutely don’t understand why people plagerize themselves. I have seen to many posts claiming to be “real” photography, when I clearly have seen those exact photos in various applications I use to make wallpapers. Shouldn’t you have to cite the correct source? I have seen my own work posted and statement made that it was their hometown or they took the “real” picture.

At this point I’m going to be less active, less involved. I will stick to my own community. Because I have learned in life, sometimes it’s just simply better to walk away, then to let something eat at me.

Tomorrow’s never promised I will not allow my time end with bitterness.
